3rd Hole, Par 3 198yds SI 9

Peter Alliss once wrote that this is one of the strongest par 3's in Yorkshire. Out of bounds to the left and trees to the right. A large tree protects the green to the left and bunkers to the right - all uphill!

Many of the members consider getting down in 4 a reasonable score on this hole. Play for position off the tee then chip and run up the green for a possible three.

A classic example of MacKenzie green.
